Life Cycle of an EC Record – IR or ECN

WORKFLOW_SUBMITTED-STATUS: The user receives the notification about the IR record being rejected because its assigned drawing has a spelling error. The user executes a CHECK-OUT against the drawing and corrects the drawing and then executes a CHECK-IN against the drawing. The IR record can once again be submitted to workflow. By selecting its [Submit To Workflow] Button , the IR record is submitted into its first workflow state and its [EC_STATE] (referencing the life-cycle status of the IR record) will automatically change to WORKFLOW_SUBMITTED:

Users can edit the IR Data Form’s metadata and add/remove attachments and even change its assigned Form. In most environments, users cannot add/remove assigned documents against the IR record (but this is an option that the administrator could activate). Its assigned documents are set to a “ No Life-Cycle ” status.
