Suffix Options

In the case of multiple Drawings being created for a single component, the process will need to automatically append a two-digit suffix ( 00 , 01 , 02 , etc.) to the Drawing’s [ ID ] and [ FILE_NAME ] values to prevent duplicate conflicts:

The options for the Separator Character(s), control the desired character(s) between the assigned part number and the automatically assigned two-digit suffix. Within the figures above, it is the default value of a dash (notice that the first Drawing does not include the Suffix Options ). For the following example, the administrator has changing the value from a dash to an “ _D ”:

Continuing with this example, the suffix assigned to the additional Drawings will be an “ _D ” followed by two digits (notice that the first Drawing does not include the Suffix Options) :
