DataEntr_PostEvent.LST The DataEntr_PostEvent.LST is executed just after the main MWAutoNumber functionality (it is executed after the [ Format List ] (and possibly the [ Category Wizard ]) is displayed to the user). The DataEntr_PostEvent.LST script can also cancel the save/registration process, but it is primarily used to add or modify the default values being output by MWAutoNumber (impacting the metadata during the registration process). For example, if the AutoNumber Format named “Standard” is selected, an administrator may need the newly registered record’s [ NOTES ] field to be automatically set to “STANDARD PART”. See the next few pages for an example of this DataEntr_PostEvent.LST script.
