Appendix D: Custom Scripting – DataEntr_PostEvent.LST example

The end of the DataEntr_PostEvent.LST script is where the environment-specific logic is inserted:

The MwAutoNumber_DefaultOutputValues() method outputs all the default MWAutoNumber information, including the ID, FILE_NAME, FILE_DIRECTORY and possibly more (DESCRIPTION and/or CATEGORIES). If any of these values need to be modified, it should be done BEFORE the MwAutoNumber_DefaultOutputValues() method is called. After the MwAutoNumber_DefaultOutputValues() method is called, additional information can be appended to the output – such as the example above. Optionally, the MwAutoNumber_DefaultOutputValues() method can be commented out and the administrator can decide a completely different method of outputting, if desired. If the script should cancel the save process entirely, the CancelCustomScript() method can be used.
