AutoNumber Format Options – Misc Tab

Misc: Hide Folder Root During User Selection If active, the selected AutoNumber Format will not display the entire folder structure/path to the users from the displayed [ Format List ] when they are registering and/or renaming a document:

By default, the [ Format List ] displays the entire folder path of the file that will be created for the users:

If the option to Hide Folder Root During User Selection is active for the selected AutoNumber Format , its folder path will not be displayed to the user when displaying the [ Format List ]:

This option is useful within more secure environments that hide the folder structure and eliminate the ability to browse the vault’s folder structure.
