AutoNumber Format Options – Configurations Tab

Configuration Categories: Do Not Categorize Brother Configurations:

If the selected AutoNumber Format has its option activated to Use Categories , and it also has the option Do Not Categorize Brother Configurations activated, then the [ Save Wizard ] will be displayed only when saving/registering its first configuration record. All of its additionally managed configurations will inherit the category fields from the first managed

configuration record. If all of the managed configurations for the file should have the same exact category assignments, this option should be activated. The following figure highlights some MechWorks PDM options to consider for this process:
